Amongst the rural people, computer knowledge is considered to be something new, but now it is widely popularized. Through this training, the desire of the poor women will be fulfilled. In the coming era, women are to be empowered with the need of the hour which is employment it is reiterated that our objective of supporting activities to promote livelihood and sustainable employment opportunities are both through self and wage employment. These initiatives are also aimed at promoting well organized economic activities leading to employment opportunities for a wide spectrum of rural population. The skill development as such is targeted towards persons basically seeking for job employment or livelihood.
Hence we have proposed to provide 60 days computer awareness training to Rural women.



In the coming era, women are to be empowered with the need of the hour. As Coimbatore is a Textile city. There are many scopes for tailoring in and around the Coimbatore and Tirupur city. So the tailoring has increased and in view of this the women between 18 – 35 age groups can be invited for 30 days course and training would be given enabling them to increase their talents and skills. This will pave the way towards becoming a good women entrepreneur. They can earn the minimum amount of Rs.150/- per day by stitching three blouse or one chudithar or three nighties from their home. If they go for work in the garments they can earn Rs.300/- per day. We also teach the students to stitch in the power machine because there is many garments and exports units available in Coimbatore & Tirupur City.

Beautician course for the underprivileged women is also given as a source of income generation. The course comprises of Theory and practical classes to enable the trainees to have hands-on experience. After completion of the Beautician course the trainees are confident enough to start-up their own venture or to be employed in a parlour on a regular basis. This course is one of the fast-moving course opted by women.
