Project AXCHAYA is an RNTCP (Revised National Tuberculosis Programme) TB awareness programme initiated for the High risk group area, the project is in collaboration with Catholic Health Association of India (CHAI) and also funded by them. We are one of the Mother NGOs for this project in Coimbatore. The project works at various levels such as conducting awareness campaigns, issuing pamphlets, making house visits to survey symptoms of TB and are referred to Primary Health Centre for sputum test.

National Bank for Agricultural and Rural Development (NABARD) funded a training programme for disadvantaged women on DTP (Desk Top Publishing). The first batch was inaugurated by Mr. Suresh.S, AGM NABARD and Mr. Raja.C, Manager IOB (Indian Overseas Bank) the batch consisted of 25 trainees who were selected on need-based criteria, they were given three months training and were also provided with 100% placement.

Health & Hygiene is always the need of the hour, ASWO in collaboration with SHARP NGO funded by Dettol, initiated an awareness project on health and hygiene in Coimbatore and Tirupur districts, around 50,000 young mothers and mothers-to-be were benefited from the project.

ASWO in collaboration with SHARP NGO funded by Mediker, initiated an awareness project on Hair Hygiene for school children. Around 15,000 girl children benefited from this project, the students were educated on hair hygiene and lice-free hair.
