Aishwariam Social Welfare Organisation and Resource Training Centre (ASWO) was started on 30th August 2006 with a view to uplift rural youth and women including the vulnerable, downtrodden and disadvantaged community.ASWO reaches out through its dedicated Social Workers and Volunteers by providing Employability Trainings to the rural and urban population. The committed Service of ASWO in and around Coimbatore, Tirupur, Nilgiris and Chennai Districts of TamilNadu has brought in tremendous appreciation from the Local officials, Corporates, Banks and the Community at large.
The Organisation operates, covering programmes in the thematic areas such as Care and Support for people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS, TB, Empowerment of vulnerable and downtrodden women through skill training and capacity building, Disability Inclusion, Education, Livelihood Promotion and Health Programmes.
Women and youth are empowered through free skill trainings such as Computer, Tally, GST, Tailoring, Fashion Designing, Aari Embroidery, Machine and Hand Embroidery etc. These trainings enable them to become self-reliant and aid in a better economic independence
