The Feed the Homeless Project is a humanitarian initiative of Aishwariam Social Welfare Organisation and Resource Training Centre (A-SWORTC), committed to providing nutritious meals to people who are experiencing hunger, homelessness, poverty, and social vulnerability.
As part of this initiative, we provide at least one meal every day to homeless and vulnerable individuals, including elderly people, women, children, persons with disabilities, and people affected by illness or other difficult circumstances.
For many vulnerable people, access to a regular meal cannot be taken for granted. Through this project, A-SWORTC aims to ensure that no person is left hungry and that those facing difficult circumstances receive food with care, dignity, compassion, and respect.
The primary objective of the project is to reduce hunger and food insecurity by providing regular meals to people in need. We believe that food is not simply a basic necessity—it is a fundamental human need and an important part of living with dignity.
Our long-term vision is to build a compassionate community where “No Hunger” becomes a shared responsibility and where individuals, families, volunteers, donors, and organisations come together to support people who are struggling to meet their basic food needs.
The Feed the Homeless Project directly supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 2 – Zero Hunger, which aims to end hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and promote sustainable food systems.
Through daily meal distribution, A-SWORTC contributes at the community level toward the goal of Zero Hunger, while also supporting the dignity and well-being of vulnerable people.

“A meal may seem small to us, but for someone facing hunger, it can mean hope, dignity and a better day.”
With the support of donors, volunteers, well-wishers, and community partners, A-SWORTC strives to continue providing meals every day and reaching more people who need food assistance.
A Hunger-Free Community where every person has access to at least one nutritious meal every day.
